My name is Courtney McKay, and I am currently interning at the Susquehanna Art Museum in Harrisburg, PA.  I am currently a Junior at Messiah College, and I am so thankful to have the experience of working directly under the Exhibitions Manager, Lauren Nye. I focus primarily on the organization, care, display, and information about current and upcoming exhibitions. I also assist in the preparation of museum programs for visitors of all ages, including office managerial tasks such as copying, data entry, social media updates, etc.

 

I am an Arts Business major who loves being involved on Messiah College's campus. I am a member of J.A.R.R.S. (Justice and Racial Reconciliation within Society) and I am a Group Leader in Koininia Spiritual Formation.

 

My hometown, Cumberland, is nestled within the mountains of western Maryland.  While I am not a Pennsylvania native, I love it here, and I love Messiah College.  

 

I specifically love the faith aspect of Messiah College.  It is such a fantastic experience to be able to live and learn with other Christians and to be taught through a Christian perspective.
